THE FLUX HAS a light, airy feel and relaxed cut, but the balance feels wrong. The front is very roomy but the back less so, giving the impression that you’ve got the jersey on back to front. Once you’re on the bike, it’s very snug across the shoulders too.

YOU DON’T EXPECT anything incredibly sophisticated in terms of styling for 46$, but the Mayhem is better than basic. The shoulder cut is generous enough for easy movement, and the sleeves are a good length, making for nice mobility without undue bagginess.

THE SILKY UV-RATED material and T-shirt shape of this jersey make it comfortable next to the skin and the 3/4-length sleeves give a feeling of extra protection as well as making it a good choice for fair-skinned riders needing some extra coverage in the heat of high summer.

THE IMPACT IS well made, with good details such as a smoothly taped inside neck, a zip garage and a lens cleaner, but the overall cut and style just didn’t work for us.
