Altura Mayhem LS jersey

YOU DON’T EXPECT anything incredibly sophisticated in terms of styling for 46$, but the Mayhem is better than basic. The shoulder cut is generous enough for easy movement, and the sleeves are a good length, making for nice mobility without undue bagginess.

We liked the lightweight quality of the fabric a lot – it wicks well and dries very quickly, making it great in very hot conditions. It’s delicate and catches easily though, so you’ll need to avoid brambles and slipshod laundry habits (stuffing it in the machine with unfastened Velcro straps, for example...).

Our only other beef is that there isn’t enough length at the back. The straight hem looks fine off the bike, but there isn’t quite enough once you’re riding.
