All Mountain Style Om 45 stem

NAMED AFTER DR OM – a scientist who reckoned the human soul weighed exactly 21g – the Om 45 has been designed with a firm focus on reducing weight.

The low-stack design means it takes up little real estate on the steerer (just 34mm), but the result is noticeable flex when wrenching on the bar, particularly if there are a few spacers fitted underneath. The dual faceplate sections are easy to install and the super-wide 54mm clamp grips the bar well. AMS have used 4mm bolts throughout. The recommended setting of 5Nm allowed the stem to twist on the steerer quite easily, so we went a bit tighter. At 134g it’s light, and AMS claim the 31.8mm version weighs just 121g – 100g more than the human soul. Either way, the price is soul crushing.

WEIGHT: 134g (45x35mm)
LENGTH(S): 45mm
CLAMPS(S): 31.8, 35mm

Price 202$ (approx 162$)
