Gamut Trail SXC chain guide

Gamut Trail SXC chain guide

NARROW/WIDE CHAINRINGS and clutch mechs are everywhere these days and they've left many single-ring riders scratching their heads and asking, "Do I really need a chain guide too?" For the racers out there and those wanting extra peace of mind, the answer is, "Yes, but probably just a top guide."

Gamut's svelte Trail SXC fits the bill nicely. With an aluminium backplate and polyurethane guide it weighs in at a mere 55g (ISCG-05 version) and is designed to keep your chain on track with minimal noise. It's available in a BB mount version too, and accommodates 30-40t rings. It doesn't look half bad either.
