Morvelo are known for their eye-catching designs, and if pink and blue stripes aren’t your thing, there are plenty of other killer options in their line-up. Not that it’s all about the visuals – riding in the Angled, it’s clear that the devil is very much in the detail. Mesh side panels give increased ventilation and the high stretch content of the fabric means the slim-ish fit is always comfortable. That’s also helped by a panelled construction through the body, which gives better shape. If this were carried through to the sleeves, the jersey would be close to perfect. The small details are also impressive, including flatlock seams and a high-quality finish. If you came for the casual good looks, you’ll stay for the technical detail and riding comfort. Price $67

If you’re not a fan of fluoro and are looking for a more understated look on the bike, then the Morvelo Stealth jersey could be the one for you. With only a small ‘MV’ logo on the front and white detailing on the cuff, it’s both simple and stylish. The cut is relaxed but not overly baggy, so it’s ideal for trail riding and downhill too, if you don’t wear bulky body armour. For a 6ft rider we found the large size was bang on. The fabric is breathable, and the construction integrates mesh panels down the sides of the body to help keep you cool and a hidden sunglasses wipe on the inside of the waist hem. Flatlock stitching helps avoid chafing. Being black, it’s never going to be an ideal hot weather choice, but otherwise, if you’re after a subtle, well fitting and wellconstructed jersey, look no further. Price 67$
