Renthal chain lube

Coming in at 250ml bottle, Renthal’s UK-made chain lube is good value when compared to its competitors. It’s a bottle that’ll last a while too, given how little you need to apply.

The lube is extremely viscous – a little goes a long way, and care needs to be taken to wipe off the excess in order to avoid the dreaded chain sludge. Renthal recommend leaving it in place a bit longer than usual so it can penetrate deeper and we did notice that we could get a couple of extra rides in before re-application compared to lighter weight lubes.
