E thirteen TRS+ cassette


E*THIRTEEN HAVE STRETCHED the range of the 11-speed cassette by incorporating a massive 44t largest sprocket and tiny 9t smallest sprocket on their newTRS+ block.

The top three cogs are machined from aluminium, while the remaining eight are steel.The cassette is assembled in three pieces, and each can be replaced separately as it wears. Ultimately it should make the climbs easier and let you put in more pedal strokes on the descents – we’ll let you know in due course! Our test sample weighs 322g and can only be used on hubs with a SRAMXD driver body. There’s also a 9-42t version for 10-speed drivetrains for 30$ less.

The hidden steerer clamp keeps sharp edges to a minimum and removes stress from the body of the stem. Out on the bike, the stem proved flex free and bombproof.
