At just 270g, the WIT is well suited to cross-country whippets and those who like to spend hours in the saddle. The deep internal channelling and 23 vents mean overheating is never an issue, with masses of airflow even at slow speeds.
Though the padding is thin, it’s extremely comfortable
and wicks sweat well. The minimalist retention cradle has upper and lower
positions to choose from and an easy to use, indexed adjuster dial to get the
fit just right. The MIT’s peak is fixed in place but it’s set at a decent
height and doesn’t get in your field of vision when you’re tanking along the
trail. On top of all that the price is good, as is the styling.
