Alpinestars Stratus gloves

The Stratus gloves from Alpinestars offer a decent amount of protection from the cold and wet without compromising control at the bars.

The fleece lined glove backing does a good job of keeping your hands warm in cold winds and will repel a rain shower or two with relative ease. The palm is nice and thin, meaning you can feel exactly what’s going on through the bars, and there’s some well-placed reinforcement at the base of the fingers and some unobtrusive padding at the heel of the hand. Though the Velcro cuff is nice and secure, it is quite bulky and can snag on jersey/jacket cuffs. The long snot wipe on the thumb is bloody handy on cold days.
