NS Magneto stem

NS Magneto stem

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it" isn't a phrase that sits well with NS Bikes, it would seem, because with the Magneto they've attempted to reinvent the stem.

This two-piece design features a neat looking integrated top cap that means you have to cut your fork's steerer tube to exactly the right length to ft it. It also uses a wedge system to clamp the steerer tube, doing away with external bolts that can be nasty on your knees. Made from cold-forged 6061-T6 alloy and designed for freeride and enduro use, it's available in a single 47mm length with a 0-degree rise. Our sample weighs 205g.

SO GOOD Gusset’s 50mm stem is nicely CNC machined from 7075 alloy and the faceplate and internal steerer clamp are available in a range of five anodised colours to complement the black body. The hidden steerer clamp keeps sharp edges to a minimum and removes stress from the body of the stem. Out on the bike, the stem proved flex free and bombproof.
