Oakley Overload gloves

WITH PIECES OF the same 'Unobtainium' rubber material used on Oakley's eyewear added to the knuckles and fingers for added protection, the Overload gloves certainly mean business.

They come up a touch large so try a size down for a good fit that reduces the likelihood of bunching palms. On the bike, they're incredibly comfortable and the silicone coated fingers deliver a serious amount of grip on the brake levers - almost too much in some cases. It certainly helps in the wet though. The protection on offer is useful for those times when you simply run out of traction.

Gusset Magnum stem

SO GOOD Gusset’s 50mm stem is nicely CNC machined from 7075 alloy and the faceplate and internal steerer clamp are available in a range of five anodised colours to complement the black body. The hidden steerer clamp keeps sharp edges to a minimum and removes stress from the body of the stem. Out on the bike, the stem proved flex free and bombproof.
