Troy Lee Designs A1 Drone Helmet

ONE OF THE most well received trail/enduro helmets to date, the Troy Lee Designs A1 was a lid many riders had been anxiously waiting for, for some time.

While it’s found its way into the kitbags of many riders in recent months, the wild colours and graphics that have characterised the range so far have put others with a more reserved temperament off.

In response, TLD have launched the Drone edition A1 with a two-tone matt grey finish and new graphics, delivering a helmet that maintains the hallmarks of the brand with a less aggressive livery for the everyday trail shredder. It’s .10 cheaper too.

PRICE: 200$

Gusset Magnum stem

SO GOOD Gusset’s 50mm stem is nicely CNC machined from 7075 alloy and the faceplate and internal steerer clamp are available in a range of five anodised colours to complement the black body. The hidden steerer clamp keeps sharp edges to a minimum and removes stress from the body of the stem. Out on the bike, the stem proved flex free and bombproof.
