E thirteen LS1+ Chain Guide

SO GOOD: A similar (but not identical) design to the illustrious e*thirteen LG1+ used by many World Cup downhill riders, we found this device really easy to fit, with useful markings to match different size chainrings.

Almost silent and totally secure, we gave it an almighty wallop out on the trail and it emerged unscathed. It’s a good value, proven design that’ll give good service over time.

NO GOOD: With its steel backplate, this wasthe heaviest guide on test (252g). It tended to clog with mud a little more than its rivals but this didn’t affect performance and a quick clear-out after each ride kept it sweet.

PRICE: 125$
