Cane Creek DB Air CS

CANE CREEK INTRODUCED a new level of suspension adjustability with their twin-tube Double Barrel design, which allows several damping circuits to be tweaked independently of one another.

The original coil shock was followed by the DB Air, which was welcomed by aggressive trail riders – though some complained that they had to sacrifice climbing efficiency for traction and handling on the descents. In response, Cane Creek have delivered the ‘Climb Switch’ model. A flick of the lever adjusts both low-speed compression and low-speed rebound damping simultaneously, which helps to maintain traction and control on the climbs. Flick the switch off and the shock will still help you rocket downhill.

Gusset Magnum stem

SO GOOD Gusset’s 50mm stem is nicely CNC machined from 7075 alloy and the faceplate and internal steerer clamp are available in a range of five anodised colours to complement the black body. The hidden steerer clamp keeps sharp edges to a minimum and removes stress from the body of the stem. Out on the bike, the stem proved flex free and bombproof.
